Mini Clooneys coming your way…George ‘desperate’ to have a child with ‘Lebanese’ features
You may want to start picturing what a young Clooney would look like now that the Clooneys are said to be ready to have children.
George Clooney is reported at least to be “desperate to have kids” to the point that he put forward the stay-at-home father idea, insiders reported, revealing the couple’s plan to bring up their potential children in the UK, while still dropping by the US three months a year.
Or at least that’s what one UK tabloid, Daily Star – not to be confused with the Lebanese broadsheet – is reporting. Amal Alamuddin’s father, Ramzi, seems to be a fan of the idea. “Now it’s time for grandchildren!” he said in his speech at the Clooney’s second wedding reception, according to US Weekly.
Before Amal Alamuddin (now Clooney) came into the picture, Clooney had acknowledged the fact that he will never have children. “I don’t have that thing in me that says, ‘must do it’. I don’t see myself ever having kids,” he told People magazine in 2006.
Insiders added that the advent of Alamuddin has totally changed Clooney’s life, the actor even expressed to his intention to make mini Clooneys to his friends, hoping they would turn out as beautiful as their mother.
Rumors about Alamuddin being pregnant have circulated since August as the two US magazines Life & Style and OK Magazine claimed to have detected an Alamuddin baby bump.
In October a source told the Daily Star Sunday: “Before meeting Amal, George had come to terms with the fact he wasn’t going to have children and despite always wanting to be a dad, he had convinced himself it wasn’t going to happen.
“Meeting Amal changed everything and he told pals how he couldn’t wait to make ‘mini Clooneys’ and hoped they took after their mother and inherit her Lebanese beauty with her dark and striking characteristics.
“They vowed to start trying as soon as they tied the knot and have told friends they can’t wait to be parents and want to have at least three children.
“Amal is extremely close to her siblings as is George with his sister so they want to ensure their children have the same close bonds.
