Lebanese actor Tony Issa has won “Celebrity Duets” this week, after competing against fellow Arab celebrities for three months.
Tony won $30 thousand USD, which he had donated to his chosen charity.
Competing in the final were Syrian actress Shukran Murtaja and Lebanese actor and singer Wissam Saliba, both of whom did a great job throughout the competition as well.
The finale was packed with amazing duets with Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram, who looked stunning in three distinctive ensembles.
Here’s the moment Tony found out he is the winner:
Our other fave moment from the finale was when Nancy and the show’s host Anabella Hilal finally kissed and made up following a two-year feud.
“Celebrity Duets is the Arabic version of the international charity singing hit-program, where Arab’s most prominent professional singers team up with 13 non-singing celebrities from different backgrounds, in front of a live studio audience, a panel of judges, and viewers who get to vote them off, in a weekly elimination competition. The prize money earned at the end of each episode will be donated to a charity selected by the leaving contestant.” (MTV)
